How Can You Help?

Please join us in our efforts to send 30 of our residents to Camp Sumatanga this summer! As you know, many of them do not have any family support besides Ability Plus, as we are their primary caregivers; 24 hours a day 7 days a week. If you can help to sponsor one or more individuals, that would be an incredible blessing! We are asking our church family and community friends to sponsor at least one person. Thank you so much in advance for your support! The cost per person is $375 and no gift is too large or too small.

Camp Sumatanga:

Purpose:

The purpose of the camp is to experience loving concern and acceptance, put meaning into abstract concepts of the Christian faith through experiences and relationships at Camp Sumatanga, learn to be helpful to others, assume responsibilities and have opportunities for success and recognition.

Our residents receive special social and spiritual enrichment in a way that makes their summer fun! They grow in their feelings of self-worth and love for others through small group relationships. The joy and excitement that they feel is like no other! Camp Sumatanga is the highlight of their summer!
